Motown Cup Silver Medalists
Sarnia Sting Minor Bantam AA team brings home SILVER after competing in the MOTOWN CUP TOURNAMENT this past weekend!



The boys got off to a rough start playing a very strong team the Clarington Toros and came out with a loss Friday 4-0, but a well rested team put on great performances Saturday beating the Kent Cobras 5-1, and later that day beating Belle Tire Dearborn 1-0, great effort by everyone!
We went into the finals focused on our rematch with Clarington Toros, the score was 1-1 going into the 3rd period, when Clarington caught a break and scored. With less than a minute left in the game we pulled the goalie and had an awesome chance to score. Final score was 3-1 but that doesn't reflect the teams play.  It was a very aggressive high intensity game coaches were very proud of the effort!
