Circle K Froster's Active Kids
Circle K Froster's Active Kids
Circle K’s success in the convenience retailing industry spans more than 60 years. Our roots trace back to 1951 when Fred Hervey purchased three Kay’s Food Stores in El Paso, Texas. Little did anyone know that these stores would serve as the beginning of Circle K. During the early years, Hervey’s enterprising spirit enabled the company to make its mark in the southwestern part of the United States. He grew the Circle K chain into neighboring New Mexico and Arizona. During the next few decades, Circle K grew its retail network through a series of acquisitions, which were incorporated into the Circle K brand. By 1975, there were 1,000 Circle K stores across the U.S. In 1979, Circle K entered the international market when a licensing agreement established the first Circle K stores in Japan. The company’s growth continued and, by 1984, sales had reached $1 billion. In 1999, a franchise program was introduced to support operators looking to build a business with a leading convenience store brand. In 2003, Circle K was acquired by Alimentation Couche-Tard and has developed into a global brand represented in over 20 countries. Circle K has become one of the most widely recognized convenience store brands, known worldwide for quality products and great customer service. We have come a long way since our humble beginnings, and we’re proud of where we’ve been and where we’re going. Please visit our timeline to learn more about the Circle K story. https://www.circlekontario.ca/history-and-timeline-0?language=en#fndtn-timeline-tab

TJ Furniture & Home Decor
TJ Furniture & Home Decor
Since 1992, TJ's has offered a wide range of exciting products, with one stop shopping to renovate, furnish and decorate your home. Customers love our varied selection and uniqueness of furniture and décor. We know how important it is to give great customer service; from the minute you enter our store, through to the delivery of products; a great experience should be expected, leaving you with a positive lasting impression! TJ's has been in the furniture business for over 20 years, starting as a Flea Market in Camlachie, offering unique furniture items. Soon after, they opened at the Mara Trade Centre, preferring to sell new products, as they were easier to locate versus searching auctions and vintage stores. They then moved to the Harvey's Plaza as Camlachie Furniture and then 15 years ago, purchased the current location, deciding to be open only Thursday through Sunday, in order to properly maintain the store and also receive deliveries. Trendz Interiors started in the London Road store and eventually relocated to downtown Sarnia. TJ's recently decided not to renew that lease and they have now merged the two stores into the 40,000 square foot London Road location, at 1326 London Road. Lola is still managing the interior design aspect, as well as staging, known now as Lola's Interiors. The very friendly atmosphere felt when entering their store is mostly due to the knowledgeable and helpful sales staff, able to offer assistance with colours, design, or gift ideas without any high pressure given - no one is commission paid. The owners speak very highly of their staff and are proud of their longevity and loyalty. Our manager has worked with us since the late 70's and he and the owners attend trade and furniture shows in North Carolina, Las Vegas and Toronto, where they buy as much North American product as they can. Our delivery team has been with us for over 15 years. TJ's loves getting good deals and the Toronto suppliers know they can call us any time, to offer special deals and then we pass the deals on to our customers. We have very competitive, if not lower prices than our competitors, and we always do what we can to discount where possible. Come in and browse through our store Thursday 10 am til 6 pm, Friday noon til 8 pm, Saturday 10 am til 6 pm and Sunday noon til 5 pm!
