U10-U16 Spring Tryouts
Representative team tryouts for the upcoming 2024/25 Season will begin for the U10 (2015), U11 (2014), U12 (2013), U13 (2012), U14 (2011), U15 (2010) and U16 (2009).
U8 (2017), U9 (2016) and U18 (2007/08) tryouts will be held in the fall.
A/AA tryouts are set to run April 29th - May 6th.
B/BB (formerly MD) tryouts will begin on June 2 - 9.

The cost for tryouts is $120 per player. This will guarantee your player 1 skate for A/AA and 2 skates for B/BB (if applicable)
Credit Card Payments will be processed during the time of Registration.
Etransfer Payments can be sent to [email protected] In the memo portion you MUST state the following:
- Tryout
- Players Name
- Players Date of Birth
If that information is not included in the memo portion of the e-transfer, your players payment WILL NOT be applied and they will not be eligible to attend tryouts.
BODY CHECKING CLINIC
Attending the Body Checking Clinic is a Mandatory Requirement for U14 and above tryouts. SHA will be offering a clinic, free of charge, for all participants who wish to attend. This clinic consists of 45 mins of classroom time followed by 90 mins of on ice time with a Hockey Canada Certified Instructor.
All 2011 born players wishing to attend tryouts MUST attend a Body Checking Clinic. If you are a 2009 or 2010 player that has not attended before but wishes to attend tryouts, you MUST have attended a Body Checking Clinic clinic.
Failure to complete the requirement will result in ineligibility to attend tryouts.
If your player completes this clinic with Lambton AAA or another Centre, a letter from that Centre confirming attendance is required.
**If you are unsure if your player has previously attended a clinic, please reach out to Harry Chadwick for confirmation - Please note, attending a 'Refresher' Course does not count towards the Mandatory Requirement if your player did not previously attend a FULL clinic**
Session Information:
April 28th at Clearwater Arena 11:00-11:45am Classroom followed by 12-1:30pm Ice Time
Please note: there is no charge to the player for this clinic and this is the ONLY Body Checking Clinic SHA is offering.

If you are a Non-Resident Player (NRP) wishing to tryout for Sarnia's A/AA team, please contact Harry Chadwick to complete a Manual Registration.
**In accordance with OMHA policy regarding NRP's you will need to contact your Home Centre for your NRP prior to reaching out to the SHA for Registration. Permission to Skate Forms are ONLY valid for AAA and will not be accepted by SHA**
Players from Point Edward will also need to contact the Harry Chadwick to complete Manual Registration for SHA Tryouts.
