Motown Cup Champions
The Sarnia Jr. Sting Peewee MD team participated in a Motown Cup Series Tournament Nov. 30 – Dec. 2 and won in dramatic fashion with a 3-2 overtime win in the Championship Game against the Strongsville, Ohio Mustangs. The boys had to dig deep after falling behind by 2 goals mid-way through the game, but fought back with a strong effort to tie it up in the third, sending it in to overtime. With a hard fought effort, they were able to pull out the overtime win against the favoured Mustangs.
