Alliance West Play comes to an end.

All I can say is WOW this has been a season of a lifetime for our team. The boys finished first in regular season play with a record of 17-2-5. Then the boys then went 11-1 in the playoff round robin finishing first. Then the boys went 4-1 in playdowns winning a hard fought battle against Oakridge to win the West division league championship for a second season in a row. We still have one more weekend of hockey coming at the Alliance Championships April 10-12 weekend. Our team also participated in 5 tournaments this season Pittsburgh, Mooretown, Silverstick Regionals, Silverstick Championships & Detroit. We finished runner up Pittsburgh losing the game 0-0 in a shootout. At the Stanley Taggart Memorial tournament in Mooretown we were a late entry in to the tournament due to a team backing out , we played great going 4-0 in the tournament to win the championship also winning both of our league games that weekend to go a perfect 6-0. In Chatham Regional Silverstick qualifier we lost one game in the round robin to North London 2-1 , but we meet up with them again in the finals winning 1-0 in overtime with just 38secs left in OT. We won the Regional qualifier receiving an invitation to North American International Silverstick in Pelham. At  Silverstick Championships we got off to rough start losing 6-0 to Colorado, then we put back to back wins together against Prince Edward County Kings 1-0 then against Skyland Kings from New Jersey. With back to back wins we finished second in our pool qualifying for the top division and a quarter final date with the Orangeville Flyers losing a hard fought game 3-0. In Detroit at the Motown Cup we beat Mooretown Storm rep team in a shootout to win the Motown Cup for our third tournament win of the season.

In conclusion our overall record is 54-9-9. Our winning hardware includes 4-large banners, 4-large trophies, 2-small trophies, 1-plaque, 3-medals.

I would just like to say thanks to Brad Chad Brian Travis Marty Nick my coaching staff. I would also like to thank Marion who has done a wonderful job as my manager. I would also like to thank Michelle for being my parent rep. I would like to thank all of my parents for their support through a very busy season.

To my players I have had a glorious year with each player, it has been very special for me to watch each player improve & grow up into young men. I will never forget my time with each boy. They all listened to me & their coaches learned our team systems & improved as hockey players. Most of all we had a very fun & memorable season.

Thanks Coach Jason
