BioJack "Jack Attack" Owen loves to knock the opponent off the puck and use his speed to blast past the D, scoring top bins on the goalie. Jack earned his Jack Attack nickname when he scored the league championship winning goal in overtime in Major Novice House league for his Blue Thunder team.
Going into his 7th year of organized hockey, Jack loves pond hockey and backyard rinks as much as arena ice.
A devoted Habs fan, he would like to emulate Pacioretty's goal scoring ability and Gallagher's relentless hustle and grit. Asked why he was sticking with #5 from last year, "why would I change it" was the answer from this straight talking young man. Jack most enjoys skating fast, playing lots of games at tournaments and mini sticks in the hotel hallways. This year he hopes to improve his dangling skills and dekes on defencemen so he can go bar down more often. Watch out for the #5 Jack Attack this year!
