In no
uncertain terms this has been the hardest evaluation process I have ever been a
part of in my coaching career.
There are
so many kids that I know can contribute at the BB level and unfortunately I
don’t have enough spots to take them all.
For those
who have made a spot on this roster, know that you earned it, and it wasn’t
easy to do that given the caliber of talent out there.
For those
who have been released, know that you have all the right stuff, and do
not get down on yourself. Keep working hard and you’ll be back where you belong
in no time.
I want
to thank all 12 of my non-affiliated evaluators for all their support, wisdom,
and advice during this tryout process. Your hockey knowledge and coaching
prowess have been an invaluable resource.
With that said I would like to congratulate and welcome your 2025/26 U11 BB Sarnia Sting!!!

This is an
incredibly talented group of hockey players and I am very much looking forward
to seeing where we can go next season!
Please be
advised that we will use the scheduled ice time today as a team introductory
skate.
I would
ask all of our players to wear their favorite team/player jersey as part of the
skate, and we will
do some team discussion and a light practice.

reminder note about the mandatory parent meeting on Wednesday May 14th.
