Sarnia Sting U12BB Wins Gold
What a weekend. Relentless. Tenacious. Sacrifice. Heart. PROUD. We’ve learned to lose - now it’s these boys time to LEARN TO WIN - and they did in the West London Doug Jarrett Memorial Tournament!

The team went 6-0 on the weekend with three of them being come from behind wins and the other three protecting a lead - which really shows the true character of this group. No quit. Full gas. Total team effort from the goal crease out.
These boys and coaches EARNED it and when I say sacrifice - this team blocked more shots in one weekend than we have in 3 years. When we didn’t, our rock steady goaltenders were there to hold down the fort. When we needed a big goal, our determination and skill shined through. When we needed to shut the opponents down, our heart wouldn’t be outmatched.
Getting redemption in the semi's vs our arch rival Kitchener Rangers Blue, who knocked us out in a semifinal in October, with a 4-2 win, to getting even more redemption vs Oakridge Aeros with a 4-3 Overtime win in the Championship game, who had previously edged the team out in a finals in November in a dramatic six-shooter shootout, made for a poetic ending to a fantastic weekend (minus Canada losing in OT themselves).
Don’t stop believing, work hard and the scoreboard will take care of itself, and let's go!
