One final BIG thank you shout-out to all the players for their tremendous effort, passion towards the game of hockey and contributions on the ice during this past week. The sky is the limit for all you. Also, a MASSIVE thank you to all the on-ice helpers, scouts & evaluators, and front-desk assistants. As a coach, I could not do my job without all your help and expertise. Very much appreciate your time and commitment when narrowing down these final difficult decisions.

As the tryouts continue to evolve and the players are put through the paces, these decisions sting more, and more each & every time. Tryouts are an extremely grueling time for coaches, and parents/grandparents as we all know, BUT FOR THE PLAYERS leaving it all out on the ice - we see the determination, relentlessness and sometimes pain during every skating and battle drill. We see the talent, creativity, hockey IQ and potential during every scrimmage. We see the bonds and friendships, positivity and true character on and off the ice. I stand behind you guys 100%.  Keep your heads held ...

Before we get into the difficult stuff below, I want to sincerely thank every single player for their full-effort, focus, commitment, and hard work this past weekend. It's been a busy, stressful couple days but everyone has shown up to the rink with a great attitude and smile on their face. As we've seen across the board in Sarnia Minor Hockey this spring, these decisions are extremely difficult ones, and that is a testament to your character and resilience on and off the ice, and passion towards the game of hockey.

Good evening everyone, Now that the registration lists are in, I'd like to provide an update for tomorrows first tryout. As outlined below, we are going to separate the group into two sessions to allow each player their own time and space to showcase their skills and potential. Please check-in at the desk via the back parking lot entrance upon arrival. If you have registered in the last 24 hours or don't see your name, please contact me and I will provide direction.
