U15 B/BB, B/BB (Sarnia Hockey)

It was another exciting Sunday for the Sarnia U15BB team winning their fourth tournament of the year knocking off the current number one team in the province, the MTHL Toronto Avalanche,5-2 in the final to win the Toronto Aeros Winter Challenge Tournament. The team went 3-1 in the preliminary round of the twelve team tournament, knocking off the highly ranked Markham Waxers and losing only to the high flying OMHA Whitby Wildcats. The Sarnia U15BB team had another successful weekend winning their third tournament this year. Sarnia competed in the Nazem Kadri Tournament in London against some very high ranked teams completing the round robin with 3 wins and a loss then defeating London 2-1 in overtime in the semi final and winning over the top rated A team in the province the Toronto Avalanche 3-2 in the final. 

The Sarnia U15BB were victorious over the weekend winning their second tournament of the year in South Simcoe. The Sting rumbled through the weekend going 5-0 knocking off tough competition from the South Simcoe Storm, the Toronto Aeros, the Barrie Colts and the Kitchener Rangers, all rated teams, before winning the championship over Kitchener 4-1 in the final. Great goaltending, hard work, strong defensive play and teamwork led to the victory.

The U15B/BB Sarnia Jr Sting travelled to the Newmarket Early Bird Tournament this weekend and played 6 undefeated games to win the championship.  They managed this accomplishment with 22 goals and only 2 against. Congratulations Team!
