    THE HUSKIES’ TIM HORTONS TOURNAMENT WAS A STAPLE EVENT FOR MANY TEAMS AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR MANY YEARS AND WE HAVE REVIVED THIS MUCH DESIRED EVENT AS THE HUSKIES CLASSIC. THE INAUGURAL HUSKIES CLASSIC RAN IN 2021 AND WAS A HUGE HIT FOR ALL WITH TEAMS FROM ALL OVER ONTARIO ATTENDING! OUR 2024 EVENT EXPANDED TO OVER 80 TEAMS FROM BOTH ONTARIO & USA! HOSTED IN HAMILTON, ONTARIO, THE 2025 EVENT WILL RUN ON THE WEEKEND OF OCTOBER 10-12 2025. RATHER THAN ONE EVENT SPONSOR WE WILL BE HAVING INDIVIDUAL DIVISIONAL SPONSORS WHOSE SUPPORT WILL ASSIST WITH SOME FANTASTIC AWARDS AND PRIZES. THE HUSKIES’ ORGANIZATION HAVE PARTNERED WITH DRAFTDAY HOCKEY WHO WILL SUPPORT THE EVENT WITH THEIR TOURNAMENT EXPERTISE. THIS EVENT WILL BE PROFESSIONALLY RUN WITH A 4 GAME MINIMUM, SCHEDULES WILL BE RELEASED WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE ACTUAL EVENT AND THERE WILL BE REAL TIME ONLINE SCORING AND RESULTS. THIS EVENT IS SURE TO BE A HIT WITH MANY LOOKING FOR A COMPETITIVE WEEKEND OF HOCKEY AND FUN!

    2025 NAZEM KADRI NORTH LONDON CLASSIC

    The Nazem Kadri North London Classic is held each year with the support of Nazem and the Kadri family. The event welcomes more than 100 teams to London and brings together players and their families for an exciting weekend of hockey.

    TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW

    Thanks to you, the Oakville Rangers Winter Classic is THE largest minor hockey tournament in Canada and the 2nd largest in the World! But much more important than 'size' is 'quality' and our club takes great pride in offering one of the best tournament experiences around. We run it ourselves with a few staff members and an army of U18 players/family + other volunteers. Yeah, we make some money that helps keep minor hockey affordable but our goal is not money. Our goal is to host the best tournament of the year, every year and every decision is made with that goal in mind.

    • ALL TEAMS ARE GUARANTEED 4 GAMES

    • NO GATE FEES

    • Tournament starts Friday 8am & ends Sunday 6pm. (Note: local teams within 1 hour may start Thursday night 6pm to 10pm)

    • ALL GAMES played at State-of-The-Art Facilities.  Healthy Planet Arena (2 rinks), Kinsmen Arena (2 rinks), Peterborough Memorial Centre (Home Arena Peterborough Pete’s), Miskin Law Community Complex (2 rinks)

    • 8 teams per division

    • Teams from throughout North America


    ENTRY FEES: 

    U9-U13 A, BB, B                      $1,800.00 (10 x 10 x 10 stop time periods)

    U14-U18 A, BB, B                     $1,900.00 (10 x 10 x 15 stop time periods)

    TOURNAMENT FEES INCLUDE

    • Player of The Game Awards for BOTH teams every game

    • MVP Award for every team

    • MVP Playoff Award for both teams in the Championship Game

    • 1st Place Teams receive Awards, Team trophy, Championship Team picture on the Weekend Hockey Facebook & Instagram pages

    • 2nd Place Teams receive awards.

    • Professional photography on site

    • Official hotels are 20-30 minutes from all arenas.
