Welcome to the 2025-2026 U18 B/BB Tryouts!....
My name is Brent Campbell, and I’m excited to have the privilege of serving as the returning Head Coach for the U18 B/BB Hockey Program for the 2025–26 season. Our focus this year is on building a strong team culture where players develop their skills, grow as individuals, and support one another both on and off the ice.
Coaching Staff & Philosophy
This season our coaching staff will have primarily non-parent core, with the following group in place:
Brad Jackson – Assistant Coach, Defense
Joseph Malinowski – Assistant Coach, Goaltending Coach
In addition, we will be working with Kaden Fulcher (Goaltending Consultant) and other local skill coaches as needed throughout the season.
Our team philosophy is built on the belief that hockey is more than a game. At this stage, it is a platform to develop not only as athletes, but also as young men preparing for life beyond the rink. Our program is committed to fostering growth in four key areas.
As Players – We strive to improve individual skills, team systems, and hockey intelligence. Every player is expected to push themselves, embrace their role, and compete with pride and passion.
As People – We focus on building character. Players will learn to recognize both their strengths and their deficiencies, using each as an opportunity for growth. Accountability, resilience, and humility are core expectations.
As Teammates – We succeed together. Every member of the team will have opportunities to lead and contribute. Mutual respect, communication, and support for one another are the foundation of our locker room culture.
As Community Members – We recognize the privilege of representing our association, our city, and our families. Our team carries itself with integrity, showing respect to officials, opponents, and the game itself at all times.
Tournaments
We are proud to have been invited to compete in the following prestigious tournaments, based on both last season’s performance and how our team carried itself:
Applewood Coyotes A Challenge Cup – October 16–19, 2025
GTHL A Challenge Cup – November 14–16, 2025
Brampton Silverstick A/BB – December 27–29, 2025
Doug Jarrett Memorial (London) – February 1, 2026
These events will provide excellent competition and an opportunity for the team to grow together while testing ourselves against strong opponents.

We look forward to seeing you at tryouts and building another strong season together.
