The battle continues for top spot in the Sarnia Hockey Associations Midget Tier 2 house league between Lakeshore Optimists and Sarnia Cement. With the 5-1 victory, Sarnia Cement has now moved just one point behind Lakeshore Optimists in the division with only two games remaining.

Zachery Roehler continues to shine as he netted two goals and two assists in leading Sarnia Cement to the win. Mitchell Neal found the back of the net with a goal and an assist in his efforts. Both Cole Armstrong and Zachery Turner rounded out the scoring with one tally apiece. Austin Cormier chipped in with a pair of helpers while Savannah MacKinnon and Jaggar Ward each had one. Sarnia Cement goalie Daniel DiFederico had his shutout bid snapped by Dante Club’s Bryce Smiley midway thru the second frame on a set up from Darius Brooks.
