BioThis Silent Sniper has always been a huge hockey fan. Layton attended his first Sting
game at the age of 14 days old! Exuding his quiet, calm demeanor, he sat through his first full game, not
leaving his seat when he was 2 years old. His hockey career started at the
age of 4 with three years of instructional
hockey, followed by a year of novice house league on team Sky Blue. He
made the jump to rep hockey, playing for the novice tier 2 team and had a
successful and fun season. In 2015/2016 he played right wing for the Sarnia Sting Minor Atom MD team.
Laytons favourite team is the Montreal Canadiens and his favorite player
is Sarnia Sting alumni Alex Gelchenyuk. Layton's favorite thing to do when not
playing hockey or other sports is, to watch any sport and brush up on
his stats. Layton's been crushing it at Elite Core dryland training sessions and killing it in the team's 10,000 Shot Challenge. Look for a breakout year for our Silent Sniper!!!
