Ron grew up in Sarnia, Ontario, where he worked with the Sarnia Sting OHL team as one of the trainers for 10 seasons. Ron has been involved with the coaching and training of many youth hockey players. Ron is currently the Director of Training for BK Hockey in Sarnia and Head Coach/Instructor of power skating through Skate Canada. Ron has been coaching the 2010 A/AA Team for Sarnia Hockey since April of 2020.
