Bandits Black in London
The major atom Sting boys faced the Bandits Black on Saturday. We were caught on our heels in the first period, with London scoring twice to get an early lead. Our boys seemed to be missing some drive and sense of urgency out there, but yet an opportunity arose and we were able to get one back shortly after Londons goal. We seemed to have a small fire lit, and 2 mins later, Kurtis and Dylan had lift off for a 2 on 1.

In the seconds coming, we witnessed the prettiest play the game has to offer. The most textbook-like rush I've seen yet. You couldn't have coached it better. There were 3 passes made on the trek up the ice, the London defenceman was helpless, and the final pass came to Dylan who nailed it home from the slot.  We were tied up at 2.  But do you ever have one of those days? You wake up, your late, then the toilet paper roll is empty after you've sat down, you can't find your keys, and nothing goes your way. Well, the boys looked like they were having one. We succombed to 2 more Bandits goals. Some  notables though were strong defencive plays by Alex Newall, and a good effort from  Ethan Pereira who moved up to the right wing filling in for Chandler Haagsma. The Sting play the undefeated Hawks this Saturday at Clearwater Arena.
