Sarnia again showed why it is the mystery team of the Alliance West Atom MD league.  Yesterday, it showed the dominant, non stop, never say die style of hockey that it played at the Dan Pulham tournament.  They came out, and out worked a team that had been undefeated with 8 straight wins, and simply overwhelmed them.

A game that should have been a battle for survival, turned into a spectacular victory, as Sarnia came out with a drive and desire that has been missing for the last few games.

They seemed to get to every puck, and played with a drive that would not be denied.  Even when they lost possession, they made sure that London had no where to go.  Ian made a very strong showing in net, and only when the team sat back for a few of minutes did London manage to get on the scoreboard.

The Sarnia Team showed again that when the whole team comes to play two way hockey, they can beat anybody.   Great passing, and what turned out to be simply undeniable desire.  While waiting to go home, one of the London coaches even commented to a couple of our kids what a great game and effort they had put in.  Keep it up Sarnia.
