Split Against Waterloo.
Interesting Saturday hockey game.
But the boy's came out to play against a tough Waterloo team. The team kept pressure on the Wolves 35 minutes of a forty minute hockey game and were rewarded with a 3 to 2 win. The goal scorers were Nathan A. unassisted; Gavin M. from Jason C. and Brendan B. and the game winner from Nicki S. from Zac M. and Lucas C.. Nice birthday gift for Nicki. Lennox J. played great in net for us. As Colby R. came down sick just before game time.
The second game of the series was in Waterloo. The wolves jumped out to a two nothing lead after the first. But the boy's took the second period over and scored three straight goals. Nicki S. from Zac M. and Thomas C; the next by Nathan A. from Zac M. and Lucas C. and the third from Gavin M. from Jason C. and Nathan O. The boy's kept pushing hard but one mistake and the Wolves tied it in the third. But the boy's kept pushing the attack and had many chances but couldn't capitalize on them. So off to Overtime were the boy's kept pushing the Wolves and had them hemmed in for the first three minutes of OT. But the wolves got there chance and capitalized on it and took the win. I thought the boy's competed hard and ashould have won the game. Lennox J made alot of saves and kept the team in it until they got there feet underneath them.
So game three this Friday night. Boy's be ready and wrap this series up in four.
