Atom, 2012-2013, AA (Sarnia Hockey)

The Atom A/AA Hockey Club's 2012-2013 hockey season is drawing to a close! The boys put forth a valiant effort but just couldn't get the breaks to continue a season that saw some very exciting & entertaining hockey!   The Atom A/AA Hockey Club would like to take this opportunity to thank ALL of their friends, family & wonderful supporters for a GREAT campaign. We look forward to a "fun" off season and preparations are on going for 2013-2014 season.

The regular season has drawn to a close for the Atom A/AA Hockey Club!! The Sting have drawn the tough Oakridge Aeros in the first round. This promises to be a hard fought, tough 402 series for the boys. Catch all the exciting action!! Playoffs begin Friday night, Febuary 15th, 7:00pm, Clearwater Arena!! Tickets on sale NOW!!

The Sarnia Sting Atom A/AA Hockey Club had the opportunity to experience one of the greatest hockey tournaments in North America this weekend!! Although, the Sting ended the tourney with an 0-3 record, the boys had the time of their young lives taking part in the 44th North America Silver Stick Finals!!

The Atom A/AA Hockey Club had a roller coaster weekend!! Saturday UP, Sunday, the boys game falling back to Earth. The Sting opened the weekend with a GREAT team effort & sent the Stars home with a hard fought 3-1 decision. Gouldie got the Sting on the board first, Spitzig slid home a sneaky backhander, & Krasinkiewicz finished the scoring with a strong drive to the net. caden Cormier was spectacular between the pipes!!

The Atom A/AA Hockey Club enjoyed some home cookin' after the holidays. The boys opened the weekend with a tough contest with the pesky Woodstock Jr. Navy Vets. Winning 2-1. The Sting battled hard & "good teams find a way to win". Krasinkiewicz opened the scoring for the Sting & "little" Jimmy Simpson netted the winner with 1:30 remaining.
