Minor Peewee '05, 2016-2017, AA (Sarnia Hockey)

Participated in the Run For Exploding Colour, a 5K event to benefit The Deker Bauer Foundation for Suicide Prevention.  The kids had a blast.

The players had an amazing evening and even learned a new skill at Sarnia Sail Training located at Sarnia Yacht Club.  Thank you so much for hosting this fun event.  I'd recommend it to anyone as the kids really enjoyed it.

What a tough decision all the players made on me tonight.  I was really impressed with all your efforts and contributions.  These situations are never easy for anyone, but you all will have an amazing year wherever you play.  I look forward to seeing the development of the players this year.  You all should hold your head high and be proud of yourselves.  

I want to thank all the players for working so hard over the course of these tryouts.  I want all the players to know how hard these decisions are to make as I know they're trying their best. Some have even tried other positions for me.  I've had a number of evaluators help in the process so this selection process has been very impartial. Unfortunately I can't take all the kids as much as I'd love to.  For the players still involved, Monday is an important game for you to showcase yourself.  Bring your best.

There will be no releases until after the Saturday game.  I want to make sure I’ve evaluated players thoroughly before making any decisions.  These decisions don’t come easy but they have to be made.
