Nov 7 Team News. Another Busy Week Ahead!
What can we say about the boys that we haven't already said! Great effort by each and every one of them. We're back to the regular routine tonight with our 7pm practice. Tonight will feature goalie coach Paul Burgess working with Lynken and JJ. Gus Suddard will join us as our AP goalie tonight.

1) We have team pictures on Wednesday at 6:30pm. Please send your players with their BLACK game jerseys and socks.  Please have them there @ 6pm as the players need time to get ready.
2) Then we'll roll right into our regular practice at 7pm on Wednesday evening.
3) Saturday is a busy day with a double header in Burlington starting at 1pm against the Burlington Bulldogs Red team at the Appleby Ice Centre 1201 Appleby Line, Burlington. Let us know if anyone needs a hand in the transportation department for this day. Lunch plans? Suggestions?
4) Then we play at 6pm against the Burlington Bulldogs White team at the Nelson Recreation Centre, 4235 New St. Burlington
5) If anyone is interested in spending the night in Burlington, the Churchill's have staked out the Holiday Inn Burlington Hotel, 3063 S Service Rd, Burlington. Ph: (905) 639-4443. If Paul is taking Jean and Kyle there then you know it's a 5 Star Platinum facility with affordable Village pricing! U of M is going to be losing to the Iowa Hawkeye's on Saturday night so please wear your Iowa Black and Yellow to the restaurant big screen LOL!
6) EliteCore Performance Training starts on Thursday Nov. 17th at 6pm. Check out their Facebook page of the same name if you aren't familiar with them. The address is 1308 London Rd, Sarnia beside the Sitara Restaurant and behind TJ Liquidators. BYOC (Bring Your Own Curry Sauce) while you wait. The cost of this training has been covered in the team budget.
7) Chuck A Puck is Friday Dec. 2nd, Sting vs Saginaw. Presales of the pucks is crucial to the success of this fundraiser. Every team that participates in a Chuck A Puck night is required to purchase 60 discounted tickets to the game. So approximately 3.5 per family at $12 for youths and $18 for adults. I'll be asking you for how many tickets you'd like for that evening. Teams have raised amounts ranging from $500-$4,000 in the past.
8) Lastly, we have a long day on Sunday, December 11th with a 4:15pm single game in St. Catharines against the Hurricanes. We have priced out a 50 seat charter bus with WiFi. Tickets would be $25 per person for this trip if we can find 50 souls make the trip. We could arrange to bring our own food and save the cost of a restaurant dinner on the way home thereby offsetting the bus ticket cost and saving at least an hour on the trip to Sarnia. Just a suggestion and I'm open to better ideas. Some of you may think of other things to put in your cooler.

I'm sure I've forgotten some things and screwed up other things above so don't be surprised to see corrections and updates. Go Sting Go! Yuuuuup!!!
