With the first game of a home and home series against Stratford on the weekend, Ian made a statement by having a solid 3 periods. He showed that Stratford wasn't the only Warriors on the ice as he battled hard for loose pucks and made smart decisions at the blue line to keep the puck in the offensive zone to sustain pressure. His hard work paid off as he launched a hard wrist shot from the point over the goalies shoulder and found the back of the net. Ian has been working really hard to encompass the defensive position and is finding that scoring opportunities still present themselves with smart puck play. He is eager to learn and works really hard in practice to better his game. We are really happy to have Ian on the team and keep up the strong work ethic!
