The great "jersey number coin flip" of 2021 has been completed! Really, it was the use of a random draw generator....but coin flip sounds like more fun. The process: 1. Players choose their top 3 choices based on the numbers on the team jerseys (some sizing issues were handled by the players' flexibility) 2. Numbers with multiple players interested were entered into the random choice tool 3. Numbers assigned by: draw winner, second place, etc. 

The 2008 age group is very strong. As they've grown up, it remains both strong, and deep. Thank you to each player who has carried themselves with class through what has been a long month of hockey tryouts. Please be proud of yourselves. I am.  Below are the players who will represent the Sarnia Sting U14 MD team for the 2021-22 season:

Thank You to all of the players and their families/supporters for the efforts during last night's session. Wednesday evening will be the final tryout and the roster will be finalized no later than Thursday afternoon. Please bring both a black and a white jersey, your own water bottle, and your best to the arena on Wednesday - and leave your nerves at home. Playing focused, bringing their best, while remembering it's still a game will help every player give themselves the best chance to represent the Sarnia Jr. Sting this season. 

Hello Players & Families, I look forward to seeing everyone tonight at Sarnia Arena for the first Tryout session. We are on the ice at 8:00pm and it is expected that all participants and spectators are respectful of the current situation and protocols that are in place. Please bring a BLACK or WHITE jersey to the arena and a water bottle (should you wish to have one).  Tonight's session will consist of skills/drills and a scrimmage, while Wednesday's final tryout format will take shape after this evening's skate and an update will be provided prior to then.  See you at the ...
