Atom, 2012-2013, B/BB (Sarnia Hockey)

Sarnia again got off to a slow start, finishing the first period down 2 goals.   Sarnia, decided it was time to come out and play in the second.  Putting on a dominant performance for the entire period, and pushing themselves back into the game getting the 2 goals back.  The third period ended with a tie, London scored first, but Sarnia answered immediately.  Play see-sawed back and forth, and finally there was no scoring in the OT.  Sarnia goes back to London for yet another game, at Argyle 6:30 Monday the 18th.

Sarnia came out on the short end of an incredible game.  Both sides of the team were visible on the ice last night.  Sarnia came out to a slow start and a 2-0 deficit, when the team decided it was time to play, and fought their way back to take a 4-3 lead which the Bandits recovered from to force OT.  The Bandits scored a goal with 49 seconds remaining.  The teams meet again on Sunday, this time with Sarnia on home ice.  If Sarnia plays 3 periods like the second 2 in London they will come out on top.

Having managed to get the tie, the Sarnia squad got some help from North and West London, as both beat the Stratford squad.  The Sarnia team can play on now if they secure a win on Saturday.  Hopefully they will come to play.

Managed to eek out a tie with North London, to keep the play-off hopes alive.  Here hoping that West and North London beat Stratford.

The team continued its mysterious ways.  It played 2 distinct games against Bandits Orange, the first period and a bit they lacked fire, and fell to a 2 - 0 deficit, before deciding that they had better come out to play, and eventually eeking out a tie.  However the fire that had been there in the Bandits Black game, was only a part time flame in this one.  The team will need to come a blazing for their game vs North, in London on Tuesday.
