Minor Bantam, 2014 - 2015, B/BB (Sarnia Hockey)

The Sarnia Sting Minor Bantam MD team has advanced to the West Alliance Championship which will begin on Thursday, March 26th, at the Sarnia Arena.

The Minor Bantam MD captured the regular season title after edging out the North London Nationals in a tight race.

I want to sincerely thank all the players that tried out for the Minor Bantam MD team this year.  I believe all the players knew coming into the tryouts that this was going to be a difficult team to choose based on the previous try-outs at the higher level. It is with absolute sadness that I am forced to release players from this team.  Unfortunately, I am tasked with choosing only 17 players that will comprise the team. Congratulations to the players that played in yesterday's exhibition game against the Petrolia Oilers.  The game showcased an excellent effort from the players in attendance. All players are to attend tonight's final tryout. After the tryout the final roster will be announced via the website. Good luck to all the players. Ivan Skinn

The first tryout is now complete. Hopefully, all the players got the rust off their skates and are ready for Tryout #2 tomorrow.  The second tryout will consist of an exhibition game vs. the Petrolia Oilers.
