Tryouts
The format for the 2014-2015 tryouts will be as follows:
Tryout #1
Saturday September 6th, 2014
1:30-3:00pm
Sarnia Arena
All players are welcome to attend the first tryout. At the completion of Tryout #1 the players will be informed via the website of who is advancing to Tryout #2. Please monitor the website Saturday evening to check on the status of each player.
Tryout #2
Sunday September 7th, 2014
5:00pm
Sarnia Arena
This tryout will consist of an exhibition game vs the Petrolia Oilers. Only players listed as "Dressing" will be playing in the game. At the completion of Tryout #2 the players will be informed via the website of who is advancing to Tryout #3.
Tryout #3
Monday September 8th, 2014
7:00 - 8:00pm
Sarnia Arena
Tryout #3 will be the final assessment of prospective players. After the conclusion of Tryout #3 the team will be selected and posted on the website.

I expect, based on the previous A/AA tryouts, that positions on this team will be hotly contested. I wish all players trying out the best of luck, however, positions on this team will be earned over the course of these three tryouts. Players will not be granted spots on the team based on the teams in which they have previously played. So please come to all three tryouts looking to earn your spot on this team.
It will be the coach's discretion to choose players and match them with their positions based on the needs of the team. If you, as a parent, or your child, object to playing any position, please bring this to the attention of the head coach prior to the tryouts. Also be advised that it will be the coaches discretion to change these positions as the season moves on.
