Team Blue
Hello Team and Parents,
We have now played 2 exhibition games and we have won 1 and lost 1! The first week went as expected, new team , new everything, but we as coaches did see room for improvement and a little time for the players to meet each other and start to jell as a new team will do! The second game was unbelievable as the team started to slowly find it`s way!
Being down by 3 goals was a little frustrating for the coaching staff , but our team showed their resilience and battled back to tie the game and then take the lead with Mateo DaSilva leading the charge with our first hat trick of the year!! This was a game to start to build a team from as each player would not give up and only dug in harder to achieve the win, well done boys!! As we continue with the season I have been informed that their will be no players changing teams as of now. The league will watch the next weekend games and inform us of any needed changes. For now I would like everyone to think about a team name as James Robbins suggested the Blue Vipers, if we can get everyone`s input on different choices then as a team we will make that decision. Please inform us at this Wednesday`s practice about your particular team name choice. Also we would like everyone`s input on the OHL Experience date of Friday January 11th 2019 and the associated cost included. I would like to keep in touch via this web site as the year continues and will check to see who, if anyone, is checking this site to keep up to date. See you at practice!
