Game 5 Report
Hello Team and Parents, After an excellent practice and fabulous pizza party we went out and did the things that we talked about. First off we talked about being more of a team and working together, that was accomplished! Next up was maybe scoring a goal before the other team, that also was accomplished, excellent job Team!
This game went back and forth with both teams scoring and keeping it tight until the 3rd period. From our better positioning to our passing and making plays to get opportunities to score, we were 100 per cent better. The overall attitude on the bench was very positive , if the other team scored, we did not break but only got stronger! Everyone had a positive attitude the entire game and that made a humungous difference, well done boys!! We also have learned that we can have fun together and play better as a team when we all concentrate on the same GOAL of being a TEAM player and working hard the entire game. I look forward to our practice this week and the hard work continuing! Winning a game will be our next mountain to climb, but I believe that we are there! This is our week gentleman!!Continue with the positive attitude and hard work , as this week your goalie slept a lot better as you guys protected him and cleared the puck tonnes better in front of him, his nightmares of continuous rubber peppering him have subsided. This week I would like everyone to remember about the Christmas food can drive for this weekend, if you can please bring a can or 2 to our game this Saturday it would be appreciated, there will be a bin inside the arena for donations. Also I will be looking for 3 players to attend the Legionnaire's game on January 17th and enjoy the skate with flags before the game and the overall excellent experience of the night. And just a reminder that the Christmas Tournament is upcoming on December 27-29 we are guaranteed 4 games. Finally thanks to everyone who has informed me about how many tickets you need for the OHL Experience, but we need to buy more before our game we are close but still shy. I will provide exact #s but it is around 28 still. Thanks and look forward to practice this Wednesday and the 1 minute skate that Mateo has so accurately described as an excellent conditioning drill!! GO VIPERS GO!!
