Sabers take on London Atom '08 Selects & Mooretwon Jr. Flags Atom AE
The Sarnia Sabers Atom Select team hit the road to play the Greater London Hockey Association Atom '08 Select team on November 25th. The Sabers played hard and won the Sunday evening road game by a score of 7-4. We are looking forward to hosting the GLHA Selects for a return bout at the end of December to close out our schedule for the 2018 calendar year.
On December 1st, the Sabers took on a strong team from Mooretown. The Flags were victorious by a score of 6-2. The team played hard, but the group from down-river proved to be our biggest test of the young season. The return match is next Sunday evening at the old Brock Street barn at 6:00pm. The team will be ready for another test.
After 8 games, the team should be proud of their 6-2-0 record. We will keep working, and learning as we take advantage of a great opportunity to come together as a group.
