Dear Parents, Players, Coaches and All Volunteers:
On behalf of the Executive of the Sarnia Hockey Association, I would like to extend to all, a warm welcome for the 2023-2024 hockey season!
We have produced the Recreational Teams Information Manual to assist with providing a fair, safe & fun community hockey program that is inclusive in as many aspects as possible. This manual should answer some of the most frequently asked questions.
We are very fortunate in Sarnia to be able to provide such a diverse "HOUSE LEAGUE" Program. Our programming is revered through our governing body the Hockey Alliance of Ontario and Sarnia Hockey is very proud to take lead developing initiatives such as the improvements to U6 to U9 Development Hockey we have seen put forth since 2017.
Our foremost goal with the Recreational program is to provide a weekly athletic experience & activity for the youth of Sarnia-Lambton. From that experience we hope our participants develop a healthy relationship with athletics & team sports.
Should you have any questions or need clarification of anything in the manual, please contact any member of the Recreational Steering Committee. The members of this Committee for the 2023-2024 season are:
