5.02.02 - League Exhibitions (Team Evaluations for Balancing)
1) SHA can conduct Team Evaluations with the intention of providing the director with a snapshot of the skills and capability of all players within a specific age group/division. These evaluations are conducted to provide our division directors with additional data in order to create balanced teams & competative leagues.
2) Division Directors are tasked with organizing their leagues into fair teams in September. It should be understood that all directors are human and make their decisions based on information at hand early in the year. It is expected that induvidual players develop over the season based on numerous factors that are not within the control of the director including:
- Genetics
- Specific Expierences
- External/Other Skill Opportunites
As a team develops over this phase League Conveners may notify players of re-assignment. Players, parents and coaches are asked to be cooperative and respect that creating a fun balanced league for all takes priority over winning games and championships
3) SHA can conduct Team Evaluations for:
a) For any "League", U7 through U21
b) Between the last Friday in September until the last Sunday in October
4) SHA does not evaluate any "Team" within the Foundations Program
5) Team Evaluations will be clearly identified as EXHIBITIONS on the Team Schedules & SHA Website
