Sting Split Weekend
The Sarnia Sting Atom A/AA Hockey Club earned a valuable split on their weekend home stand. Saturday afternoon saw the Atom A/AA's suffer a 6-2 loss to the strong Stratford Warriors. The Sting beat the Waterloo Wolves 4-1 on Sunday.
The game was tight for 2 periods!! The Sting battled the Warriors to a 2-2 draw after 2. However, the 3rd period legs were not there for the boys in this contest. The "lack luster" effort saw the Sting give up 4 unanswered goals!!
Sunday proved to be a whole new day for the Sting Hockey Club!! Waterloo Wolves showed up at Germain to take one on the chin!!! The boys came out strong & showed their fans what they are truly made of!!! Caden Cormier was spectacular between the pipes making 28 saves in the win. Blake Wallace lead the offensive charge with his 1st hat trick of the season!! Ryan Janssens added a single, Kaden Babcock picked up two assists. Others assists by Antosiak, Brydges, Hazzard & Spitzig.
The boys head out on the road for the next couple games!!
