Sting Outlast Hawks, Battle for a Split
In a wild & wooly 13 minutes of hockey, the Atom A/AA Hockey Club proved thier offensive prowess in a recent battle with the Cambridge Hawks to finish off what they started back in game 1 of the season.

The Hawks came out firing and managed to get the game tied up at 5-5 with 8 minutes remaining. It was time to get the offense rolling & Blake Wallace had the answer firing two beauties passed the Hawks goalie. The Hawks would storm back, but Jimmy Simpson fired a rocket of the blocker of a stunned tender!!! The Sting held off the Hawks come back & when the dust settled, Sting 8, Hawks 7.

The boys boarded their motor coach & headed down the road for a late afternoon tilt with the Kitchener Rangers. The Sting came out strong, but the epic battle took a lot out of the boys & the Rangers skated to a 6-4 win. The Sting fought hard but couldn't get the equalizer!! Janssens, Wallace & Babcock lead the offense with Simpson adding another!

A great road trip for the Atom A/AA Hockey Club!! See the boys in action for a pair of home games this weekend. Do not miss this exciting hockey team. Seats are selling out fast!!
