Dante Club Sky Blue - Team 2, Peewee Divison '03/'04, 2015-2016 (Sarnia Hockey)

With their second early Saturday morning (8 AM) game in a row, the Devils brought a solid effort, defeating TD Bank Team Green by a score of 3-1.   Chase Nickels had a great game, scoring 2 goals in the win and Nick Cotton scored the game winner midway through the 2nd period.

Last Saturday (FEB 13), the Devils played 2 very important games as the fight for 1st place in the playoffs continued.  The Devils played some of their best hockey of the season but hot goaltending by the opposition was a challenge.

In a back and forth battle, the Sarnia Dante Club Devils Peewee team outlasted Lehder Teal, winning 3-2.  Nick Cotton scored the game winning goal for the Devils midway through the 3rd Period.

The Dante Club Devils finished off January on a winning note with a solid win over Plater Financial (Royal/White).  Mitch Guerette played his best game of the season leading the Devils offence!!

The Peewee Dante Devils capped off a great weekend by winning the 2016 North American Cup at Glacier Pointe Arena.  The team won 5 games in a row from Friday to Sunday.  In Round Robin play the Devils defeated Sarnia Lehder Teal, Macomb Blazers, Rochester Racers and St. Clair Shores Rangers.  In the Championship Final the Devils blanked the St. Clair Shores Rangers 5-0 to bring the Cup back home to Canada!!
