2nd Half Push!
As we wrap up the first half of the season I wanted to commend our players for their outstanding success in the first half!
With the holiday break just around the corner and the startup of the BB playoff push to Alliance Championships I wanted to compliment our players and parents for our incredible success thus far.
If nothing else goes our way for the rest of the season we have already accomplished a lot!
In regular season play we finished the season 9-2-1 to seed ourselves into the top half of the BB group.
In the three tournaments we have entered thus far this year we have finished with a 14-2-2 record with both a gold and a silver medal to show for it.
Additionally we've had a lot of fun at various team building events including our Sting Experience game, Team Summer/Christmas party, and our OHL Road Trip to London. I hope that the kids will remember these moments long into their adult life!
The success hasn't come without a lot of hard work and with every passing week the boys are starting to look more and more like a hockey team with strong positional play and good heads up puck movement. There are areas in which we can always improve and we need to keep a strong focus on hard work in practice, but we have made significant progress from the start of the season to now.
In addition to the hard work of the players it takes a strong front office, coaching staff, and parent group to continue to support the on and off the ice play. Thanks to all of you for helping to make this season a success for the boys!
