the midget / juvenile tier 1, it was a total team effort as Cathcart Dental skated
to a 10-0 victory over Sarnia Cement.
Alexander Tanguy scored a hat trick, including the game winner, and Mitchell O’Bradovic netted a pair of goals and one assist. William Lee and Benjamin Pozdyk both had two goals and Tyler Oudman scored the other marker and added two assists. Jacob Cottam, Mitchell Neal and Spencer Baillie each had two assists while teammates Dallas Henry and Steve Schaefer had one. Goalie Daniel Brush picked up the league’s first shutout. In game two, Lehder Environmental clinched a spot in the Alliance house league championships, held in April, after their 6-3 win over Lakeshore Optimists. Logan Tardif had two goals and an assist for the winners. Carson Payne also scored twice and Zach Roehler had a goal and two helpers. Collin Zimmer was the other marksman. Zach Turner nabbed an assist in his efforts. Goalie Nick Budden earned his sixth win of the playoffs. Nick Cooper lit the lamp twice for Lakeshore and Tim MacNaughton rounded out the scoring. Naaman Burwell, Eric Capes and Curtis Steeves were all credited with a single assist in front of goalie Cameron Stevens.
