consecutive win after knocking off top seeded Lehder Environmental 5-4 in a
come from behind victory.
Mitchell Neal, Brendan Bouterse and Tyler Oudman (game winner) scored a goal and had one assist each for the winners. Dallas Henry and Spencer Baillie rounded out the scoring with singles. Both Benjamin Pozdyk and Alexander Tanguy were credited with one assist each. Goalie Seth LeBlanc (tier 2) provided his services between the pipes in back to back games and closed the door in the third period. Collin Zimmer scored twice and added an assists for Lehder. Jacob Cunningham scored a goal and added an assist. Zach Turner tallied once. Ian Bailey was credited with two assists and Tyler Kapteyn and Logan Tardif each had one in front of goalie Nick Budden. In game two, Lakeshore Optimists doubled up on Sarnia Cement 6-3. Tim MacNaughton had a goal and two assists while Naaman Burwell, Jake Serratore and Nick Cooper each had a goal and one assist. Eric Capes and Curtis Steeves both netted singles. Jordy Grondin had three assists and Jayce Barnaby had one. Goalie Cameron Stevens picked up the win. Clayton Peters answered with two goals and one assist for Sarnia Cement. Cody Lunn rounded out the scoring with a goal and an assist. Eric Duguay was credited with two assists and Caleb Bourgeois had one. Goalie Lennex Jagoo gave a valiant effort in front of a short Sarnia Cement bench.
