Jr Sting Take 1 point in Weekend action
The Bantams travelled to Hamilton on Friday night and just came up short in a 3-2 loss and then hosted the Oakridge Aeros on Saturday afternoon and battled to a 1-1 draw.
In Hamilton the Sarnia squad battled hard but could not draw even with the Huskies in their third night of action in three days. Scoring for the Jr Sting were Jack Dunn and Jacob Caughlin with assists going to Lukas Simon and Kyle Vince. Jake Wilkins had a strong showing between the pipes to keep things close.
The next day the Aeros came to town to do battle at the Clearwater arena and despite registering 34 shots on net the home squad's only goal would come in the second period by Caughlin from Matt Stevens and Morgan Halcovitch.
