Jr Sting Hold On For Home Win
The Jr Sting Bantams hosted the West London Hawks in a rare weekday game at Clearwater Arena and came away with a 4-2 victory.
The home squad had a good showing for two periods of play but ran into penalty trouble in the third to allow the visiting Hawks to pull within two at the final buzzer. Leading the way for Sarnia was Justin Riley-Meyer with 2 goals and singles to Jacob Caughlin and Matt Stevens. Chipping in with helpers were Zach Vanderwal, Kyle Vince, Dylan Lavoie, Jack Dunn, Jack Johnston and Tyler McLean all with singles. Jake Wilkins was solid in net earning the win.
