OHL Exp and 7th Game Update
A shout out to the Sarnia Sting and their staff for the incredible time our team and I am sure the opposing team had at the OHL Experience on Saturday!! The game itself was thrilling and enjoyed by both the players and families. Jimmy Lawrence once again scored not once but twice for our team with his second goal put up in the top shelf where usually only the peanut butter sits, well done! Thank you to Ron Page and his staff and team for participating and making it a fun day, especially the gift bags. Maybe the Sting should have had some of our players help them out for the game as the out come might have been different!!

Now for the game report that I am so happy to write!!! I do not know where to start so let me try. When Kaleb`s Dad went out of his way to bring the hardest working player hard hat to the arena with the disappointing news that Kaleb was ill, it started! Then the triplets dad brought the news that 1 triplet was ill , I also felt a touch ill myself, but little did I know that the team would not only step up but would play inspired for their sick team mates. Our opposing team today did not know or obviously care about our short player turn out , as they started the scoring and kept up the pressure. Keaton Appeldoorn  and his line of Grayson Levy and Leland Williams did not let up and put us on the score board 1st with their hard work and that was just the start as the rest of the team realized what was happening! The next and only other forward line we had today picked up where they left off and Jimmy Lawrence scored with the help of line mate Jack Berry and defenseman Connor Vandermeer pitching in . Today we had James Robbins (Justin Fazio) playing net and he did not let us down . From the 1st period when he went high with the blocker save to the numerous stops on break aways  to keep us in the game, although his mom and grandparents were near medical help in the stands he continued to perform well and outperform the opposition! I cannot say enough about the TEAM effort today as Jordan Brooks showed us as he took care of business when 3 opposing players caught us off guard  he took the puck away like taking candy away from a baby! I do not know who gave that stick to Grayson but the shot he put over the net in tight was over the moon baby!! As Jimmy continued to find the back of the net with another hattie , Matthew Ray took care of business on the blueline and not only stood up a player but took the puck away to save another scoring chance by the other team. Other then a couple of bad passes out front of our net the over all game was extremely positive with the practices showing through. From Landon Williams much improved skating and seeing the ice to make scoring chances to the over all team seeing the ice and making passes today to create the goals and other chances we had the best game of the year !! Now the highlight of the day had to be Noah Mooser taking his time on the blue line to send a pass across the ice on the blue line for Connor Vandeermeer to one time perfectly and make THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE GAME good job boys!!! That game will only be the start to the rest of the year , WELL DONE BOYS!! GO BEAST GO!!
